Hotel Ansitz Rungghof is the perfect escape when you’re tired of the city or action-packed vacations. Tucked away in the vineyards of Appiano, this family-run hotel feels like a magical hideaway. Some rooms still carry their old-world charm but come with renovated bathrooms and lovely balconies. The hotel itself offers an outdoor pool, saunas, a relaxation area, and a well-equipped gym. While you can go hiking, biking, or visit nearby lakes, we honestly just spent our days unwinding.

We definitely recommend booking half board: breakfast is served à la carte with everything from sweet waffles and local cheeses to eggs any style, plus a yogurt and muesli bar, fresh juices, coffee, and tea. Dinner is the true highlight, a four-course menu prepared by Manuel Ebner, with every dish fresh and full of flavor. Hotel Ansitz Rungghof is a place to slow down, recharge, and truly enjoy. We can’t wait to return when we need another break from it all.
