Atmosphere

Pretty Pizza doesn’t try to be flashy and that’s exactly why we liked it. A few outdoor tables make it perfect for a casual dinner in the sun, while the inside offers enough space for groups without feeling crowded. The vibe is industrial but still warm and welcoming. Highlight: the open kitchen. You can watch the team stretch dough, add toppings, and slide pizzas into the oven. It adds a fun, behind-the-scenes energy to the whole experience. Only downside? The bathroom situation downstairs. Let’s just say, not our favorite.

Menu & Options

Fully vegan, thoughtfully done. For Munich, that’s a win. Pretty Pizza proves that plant-based doesn’t mean compromising on flavor. The menu is short and focused, tomato or white base, then things get creative. Fun names, bold combos. Our highlight: the dough is fermented for 72 hours. You can really taste it. We would’ve loved a bit more background about it, maybe from the team or even a note on the menu. Same goes for the vegan cheese. A little more info = a lot more appreciation. Drinks are simple and to the point: one beer, one white wine, one red, and a couple of spritzes. It’s enough to keep you happy.

Food

We went for the Fat Boy Slim and the Mr. Big. Plus two beers and water. Reggie Miller came with a white base, vegan bacon, mushrooms, mozzarella, parmesan, and fresh basil. Rich, creamy, full of umami. The bacon was crispy, and the cheese combo worked surprisingly well. Exactly what we hoped for with a name like that. Mr. Big had rosemary potatoes, truffle oil, truffle salt, parsley, mozzarella, and parmesan, also on a white base. Earthy, cozy flavors. It could’ve used a bit more seasoning, but the chili oil on the side helped it out. And now, the real star: THE DOUGH. Thin, light, with the perfect crunch on the edge. You can taste the 72-hour fermentation magic. Easily one of the best vegan pizza crusts we’ve had in Munich.

Service

The service was just what you’d want on a relaxed pizza night, friendly, fast, and low-key. Orders were taken on a tablet, and everything came out quickly. What really stood out: the chill kitchen crew, who even gave us a quick look behind the scenes. It felt genuine and personal, and added a nice touch to the experience.

Overall

We paid just under €55 for two pizzas, two beers, and water. Not super cheap, but totally fair for the quality. Pretty Pizza doesn’t overpromise, it just delivers really good, thoughtful food with a relaxed vibe. No frills, no fuss, just solid vegan pizza. And honestly, that’s the kind of place we’re always happy to support.
